Will Power and Rico Tubbs are both respectively known for mashing up the place. So when they get hold of one of the Prodigy’s original clubland destroyers, and run it through the dubstep grinder, you know the room is gonna melt.
Inciting racial hatred aside, it’s pretty hard to ignore the impact Bridgette Bardot has had on pop culture. The organ line on Contact is so infectious it could probably warrant a health warning. Benjamin Vial has picked up on that tune, and gave it a good going over in his studio. Much like the original he’s managed to craft something very unique and unusual. I think I’ll have this on repeat for most of the day.
Ghetto Division are doing Santa’s rounds early with 2 more exclusive remixes released. Both are remixes from the new Rampage release, the South Side Boogie EP, which will do wonders for fans of Daft Punk. The Madjazz remix of Knights Over Chicago has a nice classic/acid house vibe going on, but it’s the bootified remix from Nader of the filter disco track What’s That Groove that really caught my attention.
Jason Sparks has reworked his classic Gangsters for Botchit & Scarper. Euphoric chords always catch my attention as anyone that has heard my mix tapes will know. This is just the sort of thing I like to finish up on. Flore and Reso take things in a different direction with some driven and twisted dancefloor fodder, respectively.
There’s a mix available to coincide with the release. Just check out that tasty tracklisting and try to persuade yourself not to download it! Great stuff!

Yes yes now! The next release on Fly Beat Music is BIG. Flores remix has already coined a new term in the blogosphere “Future Samba” and who are we to argue? The original is also causing quite a stir and as always DJ Enfusion has done justice for the legion of 90′s Jungle fans out there.
Here’s the Soundcloud widget to tie you over until December 20th, when it should be hitting a download store near you.
We’ve been getting great feedback from the likes of Blame, Youngsta and High Rankin’ for DJ Enfusion’s Spiritual Technology. This is now up on Beatport, as well as the usual stores like iTunes and Juno.
Son of Kick featured here a while back with a freebie, and after having a quick browse on Soundcloud I noticed he is now including all his free tracks in one page, including his remix of Stanton Warriors Pop Ya Cork, Flores The Test and a dope Jay-Z dubstep booty. So don’t hold out, go click.
Also, feed the man some $crilla by supporting him over on beatport, including the massive Revolution package on Way Way Records, which is some kind of mangled dubstep/electro/8-bit mish mash.
Who remembers Club Action by Yo! Majesty? I certainly do. That was such an amazing track which helped launch Shunda K into the limelight. Her most recent escapades being with Flore on her rendition of Cars by Gary Numan.
Just out is I’m Da Best, taken from her forthcoming debut solo album The Most Wanted. I’m Da Best reunites Shunda K with band mate Shon B along with a slew of remixes. One of which is a downtempo electro number with added French licks by Les Gourmets. This is in our hands to throw whimsically into the wind like a wad of cash as if we had just received a big windfall, so enjoy it.
