DJ Ayres drops some mad exotecha style riddims for a his latest rub on T&A. This is serious sh*t to have in your set for any fan of pure unadulterated, intoxicating, ravenous club beats.
We are close to releasing the second Flytronik7 single to the usual download stores like beatport, itunes, juno etc… but wait, we have an unusual offering this time around. Instead of shifting this out to the top name DJ’s to garner support, we instead are releasing the promo on Soundcloud to all our crew, ground level! This means you can get the promo shoot and start pimping out the track before it hits the shops. All we ask in return is for a little bit of feedback. So play it, blog it, rinse it out and feedback.
DJ Enfusions foray into dubstep drags nightmare rave noises kicking and screaming through coarse beats and bass and twisted FX. This is surely one to wake up the ket heads! With SometimesSean hot on the heels with a juked out remix for the raver with more maneuverable feet.
The second part of the freemix instalment of K.GoL’s Shell Game is one of my own. In fact, after more than 3 years from the labels inception, this is my first release! Well worth the wait it was too as I’ve settled in to a sound that I’m quite happy to reflect on me.
Brining together loads of my favoured flavours of club music like ghetto, bass and tropical and smothering it with my love for 50′s exotica, this remix has a sound that’s both trashy and pounding.
It’s been well over a month now since I mentioned the free remixes of Shell Game coming out. The original and it’s remixes has had loads of hype from the likes of Laurent Garnier, DJ Zinc and Daniel Haaksman and these new ones are just as big. First up is King Kong from Portugal. Influences come in thick from the global club scene, not to mention his fellow country men Buraka Som Sistema. This huge slab of digital badness is sure to blow the doors off the club so make sure when you play it out, you bump them subs right up!
Everyone’s favourite stumpy DJ has got his, um, stumps on the DJ Jonny Blaze remix EP, and gave it what for in his ever stylistic mash-up. This is something Mr No-Hands did when the release first launched, and he’s now up’ed it on lifesupportmachine.co.uk to coincide with the free downloads we dropped on Soundcloud.
We thank him kindly from the bottom of our hearts for doing such a mega job, and we swing a high 5 over to LSM for such nice words about Jonny, he label and the EP. Word!
Coming in April 2011 the main man himself, Daniel Haaksman, will be releasing an album on Man Recordings, and if the free download and album preview track, Tamanehro, is anything to go by, it will be a HUGE mix of baile, electro, house and general big room club action. What else can we ask for? Can’t wait!
I’ve recently started following a tech/tropical/tribal house producer with quite possibly the most fantastically awesome name ever, King Kong! Portuguese based producer Maurillo is behind the guise and he’s shopping all these productions out for nada! In his own words “the free tracks are my way to say thanks to all of you”. Who can say fairer than that?
Not content with being one of the UK’s most successful promoters and highly rated DJ’s, Pete Jordan recently took the dive into full on producing and was instantly signed to huge labels like Top Billin’ and Distinctive. One of his first most prominent and widely celebrated tracks of last year was Night Controllers. Due to legal issues, however, it appears it won’t be getting an official release…
Of course, being the generous sort of chap Pete is, he’s not going to let such a big package go to waste. So instead he’s put it out for free alongside another version and a dubstep remix. Take it, run with it, and keep your eyes keenly pointing in his direction as 2011 is surely going to be his biggest year to date.
